Study, exercise and learn new skills on our courses

The Finnish Seamen´s Service arranges various courses for seafarers. If you wish to participate in our courses, you have to sail on a finnish flagged vessel, or on a vessel with the Finnish Seamen´s Service contract.

The teaching and materials are mainly in Finnish and Swedish, but it is possible to arrange courses also in English if there is enough interest.

Terms for participating (in Finnish)

We will provide food and transport services for courses that last longer than a day. Please inform form us when you register, if you need transport of have special diet or dietary allergies.

Some of the courses come with a small charge. We always inform if the course is free or comes with a charge.
